Jared was born in American Fork, Utah and has lived in Utah, Brazil, Alaska and Oregon. In all of the places he has lived, Jared has loved sharing his love for the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. He recently graduated with a Master's Degree in Education from Utah State University. Jared is a licensed educator in the State of Utah, and has co-authored articles published in Science Scope and Technology and the Engineering Teacher. He has also co-authored conference proceedings with the American Society for Engineering Association and has presented at national conferences for the American Society for Engineering Education and the Literacy Research Association. He is married to the love of his life Julianne, and is the father of eight children. He currently lives in Cache Valley, Utah with his family and enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, sports, and coaching water polo.
